PhosAgro-Cherepovets

PhosAgro-Cherepovets is the largest producer of phosphate-based fertilizers and phosphoric and sulphuric acids in Europe, and one of the leading manufacturers of NPK fertilizers, ammonia and AN in the Russian chemical industry. It is also Russia’s largest exporter of phosphate-based fertilisers, and supplies countries in Western Europe, Asia, America and Africa.

The enterprise houses an industrial river port used for transport of raw materials and finished products.  PhosAgro-Cherepovets has its own generating capacities with an aggregate volume of 134 MW, and is 80% self-sufficient in electricity through recovery of steam heat created by producing sulphuric acid. This makes PhosAgro-Cherepovets a leader within the sector.

The company employs approx. 6,000 people.
